Community Outreach – Camp Triumph, Session Two

Session two of the 2016 Camp Triumph Summer Youth Prevention Program took place at Isleta Pueblo on June 20-23, 2016.  Camp Triumph is a youth drug, gang and gun violence prevention effort that began 20 years ago and is operated as part of the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s Project Safe Neighborhoods program in Bernalillo County which has an urban Indian focus.  This year’s Camp Triumph program was coordinated by Law Enforcement Coordinator Gutierrez.  Smart on Crime Assistant U.S. AttorneyHenderson and representatives of the DEA and UNM College of Pharmacy-Generation Rx provided a HOPE Initiative presentation to campers on June 23, 2016.
