HOPE Initiative – MEDTalks Presentation

On Oct. 10^th, 2017 Acting USA Jim D. Tierney gave a presentation at UNM Health Science Center’s Domenici Auditorium. His presentation was focused on the HOPE Initiative and discussed the work of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, in particular, the investigation and prosecution of medical professionals who prescribe outside medical practice, divert opioids, participate in pill mills, and otherwise engage in unlawful practices that contribute to the opioid epidemic.
