HOPE Initiative – Prevention and Education Presentation at Atrisco Heritage High School

Assistant U.S. Attorney Rozzoni, Crime Prevention and Community Outreach Coordinator Sedore along with the DEA presented “Roll the Dice” to the 9th grade Health classes of Atrisco Heritage High School. The presentation follows the story of a fictional student as he makes choices on substance use and abuse, and looks at the consequences of those actions. In total eight presentations were given and approximately 900 students attended. At the end of each presentation, quick Q&A sessions were conducted to allow students the opportunity to ask questions of the presenters on their education, backgrounds, and jobs.
