Human Trafficking

AUSAs  Adams and Cairns represented the USAO at the Jan. 14, 2016 meeting of the New Mexico Tribal Taskforce on Human Trafficking. AUSA Adams presented training on jurisdiction in Indian Country and discussed the DOJ/USAO efforts to identify and investigate human trafficking in Indian Country. AUSA Cairns delivered a presentation on the Trafficking Victims Protection Act.
