Indian Country Law Enforcement Coordination and Outreach – Zia Pueblo

Supervisory AUSA Nayback and AUSA/Tribal Liaison David Adams presented training to Zia Pueblo on jurisdiction, major crimes, the Violence Against Women Act, and best practices for investigations.  It serves as another step towards building relationships of trust and developing collaborative responses to violent crime in New Mexico. The training is part of the U.S. Attorney’s continuing commitment to strengthening the Office’s government-to-government relationships with New Mexico’s tribes and responses to violent crime throughout New Mexico, including tribal communities.
