Indian Country Outreach - OVW Violence Against Native Women

Tribal Liaison/AUSA Adams participated in a seminar sponsored by the Indian Health Services and presented by the International Association of Forensic Nurses to train nurses and physicians seeking to become certified Pediatric Sexual Assault Examiners (SANE) healthcare providers. AUSA Adams taught a session on forensic evidence and testimony provided by SANE nurses and healthcare providers in federal cases charging domestic violence and sexual assault crimes against Native American women. AUSA Adams participated in this seminar as part of his Tribal Liaison responsibilities and in support of the OVW Tribal SAUSA Pilot Project.
