Submitting Information to DOJ

If you have information about corporate wrongdoing, we want to hear from you. Use this page to find out how to submit new information, add supplemental details to a tip you have previously reported, or ask a general question about how the program works. Submissions are kept confidential to the fullest extent of the law. 

  • In order to submit information to the CWA program, you must use the online intake portal. We can no longer accept e-mailed submissions to the program and anything received via e-mail will not be processed
  • If you do not know the information requested, or if the information requested is not applicable to your submission, please indicate “N/A” in the appropriate text field.
  • After successful submission of the information through the portal, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that includes your CWA identification number, or CWA ID. 
    • Please refrain from making multiple submissions for the same tip. Doing so will delay the evaluation of your information.

  • If you have supplemental information to provide related to your original submission, you must provide your CWA ID and include any additional relevant information.

  • You may submit a general inquiry about the CWA. Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot respond to every inquiry. Please also review the Frequently Asked Questions to see if your inquiry is addressed there.
