National Elder Justice Prosecutors Summit

The inaugural National Elder Justice Prosecutors Summit on October 14–15, 2026, at Constitution Center in Washington, DC will bring together prosecutors from across the country to address some of the most challenging issues in elder abuse prosecutions.
Participants will learn from national experts and experienced practitioners, exchange practical strategies, engage in meaningful discussion, and build lasting professional connections with colleagues committed to strengthening the prosecution of elder abuse.

Session Topics

The National Elder Justice Prosecutors Summit is hosted by the U.S. Department of Justice's Elder Justice Initiative and Office for Victims of Crime.
Together, these programs support prosecutors and multidisciplinary partners through training, technical assistance, practical resources, and national collaboration to strengthen the response to elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.
