Justice Leadership Academy
The Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan (USAMIE) is committed to educating young people on the range of career possibilities within the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the criminal justice system. The Justice Leadership Academy (JLA) is designed to educate young people about careers in law and law enforcement. The JLA is made possible through support and participation of our federal law enforcement partners. The presentation is intended to engage youth ages 14-21, with an emphasis on High School Juniors and Seniors. However, presentations are available for students in elementary school through college. Standard Presentation is two hours.

The Project Safe Childhood Program in the Eastern District of Michigan is part of a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation. The U.S. Attorney’s Office works in partnership with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies throughout the district to help keep children safe.
