Acting United States Attorney Matthew R. Molsen announced that a federal jury in Lincoln, Nebraska, returned a guilty verdict on April 24, 2025, against Olen Warner aka Dan Warner, age 51, and Ernesto Leyva, age 36, both of Lincoln.

Acting United States Attorney Matthew R. Molsen announced the federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska has returned 22 unsealed Indictments charging 24 defendants. Indictments are charging documents that contain one or more individual counts that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. 

Jesus Martinez-Garcia, 27, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 23, 2025, in federal court in Omaha for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine.

Martin Omar Rodriguez Vega, 56, of Sinaloa, Mexico, was sentenced on April 23, 2025, in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska, for distributing more than 50 grams of pure methamphetamine.

Robert Johnson, age 40, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 24, 2025, in federal court in Omaha for possessing with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.  

Camarion Almond, 21, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 17, 2025, in federal court in Lincoln for unlawful disposition of a firearm. 

Hannie Rice, 67, formerly of Oakland, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 16, 2025 in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. 

The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska is alerting the public to be aware of imposter scams involving individuals claiming to represent the United States Attorney’s Office or other government agencies.

Troy D. Murphy, 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 16, 2025, in federal court in Omaha for escaping from federal custody.  

Roberto Ceja, Jr., 33, of Lexington, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 16, 2025, in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska, for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine. 

Stephanie Kessel, 41, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 16, 2025, in federal court in Omaha for making a false statement in connection with the acquisition of a firearm. 

Troy D. Murphy, 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 16, 2025, in federal court in Omaha for escaping from federal custody.
