Lincoln Man Convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine

United States Attorney Susan Lehr announced that William Arthur Parrott, age 54, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was convicted on January 30, 2025, by a federal jury in Lincoln of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine mixture after a three-day trial in Lincoln presided over by the United States District Judge Susan M. Bazis.
Evidence presented to the jury included testimony from three persons involved in drug distribution with Parrott between March of 2020 and November of 2022. In addition, the Government presented text messages sent between Parrott and one of the witnesses concerning drug transactions, drugs found during the search of a witness’s hotel room, information from searches involving co-conspirators, a tracker placed on a co-conspirator’s vehicle, and surveillance done by narcotics investigators.
Parrot is scheduled to be sentenced April 24, 2025. Parrott faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, and a fine of up to $10,000,000.00.
