Omaha Man Sentenced for Conspiracy to Distribute and Possession with Intent to Distribute 100 Grams or More of Fentanyl Analogue

For Immediate Release
U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Nebraska

Acting United States Attorney Matthew R. Molsen announced that Allen Green, 73, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on April 15, 2025, in federal court in Omaha for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of fentanyl analogue. United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher sentenced Green to 262 months’ imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. After Green is released from prison, he will begin a 10-year term of supervised release.

After receiving information that Green was involved in distributing controlled substances, law enforcement obtained a court order allowing them to get precision location information from his phone. On December 15, 2023, law enforcement obtained data from Green’s cell phone that he had traveled to Chicago, Illinois, from Omaha and after a short time began to travel immediately back to Omaha. Iowa state troopers pulled Green over near Des Moines, Iowa, for several traffic violations. In the vehicle, law enforcement located 280 grams of fentanyl analogue in powder form.  The lab confirmed the fentanyl and the powder also contained heroin and Xylazine. Green admitted that the fentanyl was going to be distributed in the Omaha area.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Overdose Task Force, which is comprised of law enforcement from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Omaha Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
