U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Amanda L. Reeves, 43, of Greece, NY, who was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, was sentenced to serve 42 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford. Reeves was also ordered to pay $92,903.34 in restitution to various retailers, including Best Buy, Home Depot, Kohls, Lowes, Macy’s, Target, and Walmart.

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Rodney Pierce, 38, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, was sentenced to serve 72 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara. 

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Michael Torres, 38, of Rochester, NY, who was convicted of financial institution fraud, was sentenced to serve three months in prison, three months home detention and three years’ supervised release by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara. Torres was also ordered to pay restitution totaling $136,679.

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that a federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging Joseph Fontanez Walker, 35, of Jamestown, NY, with narcotics conspiracy, which carries a minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life, and a 10,000,000 fine.

Arcara to possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison and a maximum of life.

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Ruben Medina, 20, of Jamestown, NY, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute five grams or more methamphetamine, was sentenced to serve 84 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara. 

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Torrance Bailey, 44, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and distribute, five kilograms or more of cocaine and 40 grams or more of fentanyl, was sentenced to serve 138 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara. 

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today a federal grand jury returned a superseding indictment charging Quentin L. Yancey a/k/a Q, 39, and Johnny B. Mays a/k/a Blaze, 41, both of Rochester, NY, with narcotics conspiracy, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life. In addition, Yancey is charged with using and maintaining a drug-involved premises, and six counts of money laundering.

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Layton Love, 46, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with interstate communication of a threat, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
