BUFFALO, N.Y.-U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. announced today that Alie Hassan, 30, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of food stamp fraud, was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $69,348.00 by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Marie P. Grisanti, who handled the case, stated that Hassan owned and operated the Broadway Mart & Deli located at 1358 Broadway Street in Buffalo.
