11th Annual Cyber Crime Prevention Symposium

October 28, 2019

On October 28, 2019, the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and other law enforcement and community agencies, hosted the 11th Annual Cyber Crime Prevention Symposium at the California Endowment. We welcomed over 350 local middle school and high school youth along with educators and parents. The yearly event provided a variety of presentations and workshops on cyber-crime and Internet safety. This year, the team again partnered with the theater department at Cal State University Northridge to present an interactive skit on digital reputation and sextortion. Assistant United States Attorney Lisa Feldman and Director of Community & Law Enforcement Outreach Tracy Webb participated in the planning and presentation of this annual event as part of the Los Angeles County Cyber Crime Task Force.
