2019 Police Week – Coffee FOR the Cops

On May 14, 2019, the office hosted a Coffee FOR the Cops event to recognize our local law enforcement officers on the occasion of 2019 National Police Week, an annual tribute to law enforcement service and sacrifice.

Co-hosted by the Glendora Police Department, over 75 officers from 11 departments around the district attended the morning event. AUSAs Kim Meyer from the Violent and Organized Crime Section and Puneet Kakkar from the International Narcotics, Money Laundering & Racketeering Section attended along with Law Enforcement Coordinator David Cons and Director of Community & Law Enforcement Outreach Tracy Webb. In addition to coffee and sweet treats, the officers were able to interact with five of the therapy dogs from Pet Prescription Team.
