Black History Month

On February 28, 2020, the Office commemorated Black History Month with an informative panel discussion presented by the Diversity Committee, including AUSAs Najah Shariff and Kim Jaimez, and Contracting Officer Gary Letona. The event featured a panel of dignitaries, including Dr. Donna Nicol, Dr. Boris Ricks, Dr. Brenda Stevenson and Dr. Francile Rusan Wilson, and a  discussion by Kim Jaimez who did a well-researched and adeptly presented PowerPoint on “African Americans & the Vote” and the state of minority voting rights as a result of key Supreme Court Decisions.
