On February 18 and 19, 2015, President Barack Obama hosted the “White House Summit on Countering Violent Extremism.” Senior administration officials, including Attorney General Eric Holder, federal, state and local law enforcement officials, including Acting United States Attorney for the Central District of California, Stephanie Yonekura, and community members and stakeholders from Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Boston all participated in the Summit. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo also joined the participants. The Film was unveiled to the public at the White House Summit as part of the overall presentation by the Los Angeles Community.
