Elder Fraud

On December 2, 2019, Assistant United States Attorney Lisa Feldman of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section along with Assistant United States Attorney Monica Tait, Deputy Chief of the Major Frauds Section and the office’s Elder Justice Coordinator, hosted a community presentation in the City of Pasadena on Elder Fraud. AUSAs Feldman and Tait provided an overview of the most common types of scams impacting elders and tips on how to recognize and report those crimes to law enforcement.
