On April 20, 2020, the Office, in partnership with the FBI and prosecutors from the three other United States Attorney’s Office in California, participated in a telephonic town hall coordinated by AARP of California and the Fraud Watch Network. The event allowed our office the opportunity to provide information to California residents on how to identify scams and avoid fraudulent schemes related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event hosted and responded to questions from over 5,500 participants from throughout California.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics During April and May, the Office partnered with the City of Covina and Foothill Transit to provide COVID-19 vaccines to USAO staff and their families. Kudos to David Cons, our Law Enforcement Coordinator, for finding the opportunity for those who wanted the vaccine and who also wanted help others get vaccinated.
