Fraud Watch Network

On April 20, 2020, the Office, in partnership with the FBI and prosecutors from the three other United States Attorney’s Office in California, participated in a telephonic town hall coordinated by AARP of California and the Fraud Watch Network. The event allowed our office the opportunity to provide information to California residents on how to identify scams and avoid fraudulent schemes related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event hosted and responded to questions from over 5,500 participants from throughout California.
