Fraud Watch Network - Holiday Scam Tele-Town Hall

On December 11, 2020, the Office, in partnership with AARP of California and the Fraud Watch Network, hosted the next in a series of tele-town halls to provide information to callers on how to identify holiday scams and avoid fraudulent schemes. The Central District’s Elder Fraud Coordinator AUSA Monica Tait provided an overview of the latest holiday scams that prey on our senior population and responded to questions from over 2,100 participants from throughout California.
