On March 2 the Office joined in the nationwide celebration of Read Across America. Law Enforcement Coordinator David Cons and Director of External Affairs Tracy Webb joined law enforcement, prosecutors and community leaders to commemorate the 113th birthday of Dr. Seuss. David and Tracy read Dr. Seuss books to the children of Wadsworth Elementary School.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics During April and May, the Office partnered with the City of Covina and Foothill Transit to provide COVID-19 vaccines to USAO staff and their families. Kudos to David Cons, our Law Enforcement Coordinator, for finding the opportunity for those who wanted the vaccine and who also wanted help others get vaccinated. Operation School Bell

On December 9, the Office was back in person volunteering with the Operation School Bell outreach program with the Los Angeles Unified School District. United States Attorney Martin Estrada along with Director of Community & Law Enforcement Engagement Tracy Webb spent the morning at Teresa Hughes Elementary School in Cudahy with officers from LAPD and LAUSD School Police distributing new shoes, socks, backpacks, clothes, school supplies and school uniforms to the elementary school children.

National Night Out On August 3, the Office was again proud to participate in National Night Out (NNO), which is a decades-long program designed to join neighborhoods together and enhance partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
