Law Enforcement Coordination and Outreach

Supervisory AUSAs Federici and Brawley participated in a meeting with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials and officers of the Aviation Police Department at the Albuquerque Sunport to discuss matters that may be prosecuted by our office. While at the Sunport, the AUSAs toured the security processing area and observed as officials arranged for a man to go through security with a gun in his bag without notice to the security team on duty so they could learn how the process works when a firearm is found in carry-on luggage.
