About
The Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Policy, Management, and Procurement (DAAG PMP) provides leadership and oversight of DOJ’s policy and management initiatives, ensuring that high-priority programs, such as those contained in the President’s Management Agenda, are properly addressed. DAAG PMP responsibilities include serving as the Department’s liaison with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and DOJ’s Office of the Inspector General, providing management direction for the agency’s audit and compliance program, overseeing the Department’s ethics program, providing strategic oversight of the acquisition and procurement lifecycle, improving the utilization of small and disadvantaged businesses, articulating and implementing an effective Departmental Records Management and Directives Program, advancing facility and logistics management, enhancing administrative support services, and modernizing the Department’s electronic litigation strategy. The DAAG PMP also serves as the Department’s Senior Procurement Executive, Suspension and Debarment Official for procurement and non-procurement activities, Senior Accountable Official for Domestic Sourcing, Senior Agency Official for Records Management, and Historic Preservation Officer.

Mission
To support and encourage the successful execution of the DOJ component missions while improving efficiency and effectiveness of DOJ program areas using thoughtful and creative management concepts. To provide leadership and expertise across the Department in the areas of management, legal counsel, acquisitions, procurement, policy, ethics, electronic litigation, portfolio management, as well as program auditing and oversight.
