United States v. Gregory N. McKnight - USAO# 2008R00574 / 12-CR-20101
12/30/2024 - You may have already received notice from the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) that the sentence of GREGORY N MCKNIGHT has been commuted pursuant to President Biden’s Executive Grant of Clemency signed on December 12, 2024. We are writing to provide additional information.
This Executive Grant of Clemency was issued to all inmates who were transferred to home confinement pursuant to the CARES Act. The commutation reduces their sentences by concluding their period of home confinement on December 22, 2024, but does not impact any term of supervised release or restitution originally imposed by the court. You may find it helpful to read the Office of the Pardon Attorney’s Frequently Asked Questions, particularly the FAQ describing the difference between a commutation of sentence and a pardon. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you need assistance or have any questions about this information
