Richard S. Moultrie, Jr.
Acting U.S. Attorney Richard S. Moultrie, Jr. has extensive experience in handling complex, high-profile matters in federal court. He formerly served as Chief of the Office’s Violent Crime & National Security Section. A member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he is also the previous recipient of the U.S. Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award and the Executive Office of U.S. Attorneys Director’s Award for Superior Performance.
He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at the Austin School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College.
