This case is assigned to United States Magistrate Judge Justin S. Anand, United States District Court for the North District of Georgia, Richard B. Russell Federal Building and Courthouse, 75 Ted Turner Drive SW, Atlanta, GA 30303-3361.

On August 6, 2020, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia filed a criminal information charging Milton Ayimadu with one count of hoarding and price gouging in violation of the Defense Production Act of 1950, Title 50, United States Code, Sections 4512 and 4513. 

According to court documents, charges, and other information presented in Court, between March 2020 and May 2020, Ayimadu accumulated more than 200,000 face masks from a foreign country and sold them through his website, babypuupu.com, at inflated prices. 

The defendant entered a plea of guilty on September 2, 2020 and received probation.

The public is reminded that the criminal information contains only allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
