Buffalo Man Sentenced for Bank Robbery

BUFFALO, N.Y.BU.S. Attorney William J. Hochul announced today that Demetrien Bell Bradley, 20, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of bank robbery, was sentenced to 24 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny. The defendant was also ordered to pay $1,540 in restitution.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Catherine Baumgarten, who handled the case, on November 6, 2013, Bradley entered the Key Bank at 306 West Ferry Street in Buffalo. The defendant passed the teller a note demanding money and threatening that he had a gun.The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force.
