For Immediate Release
U.S. Attorney's Office, Western District of New York

BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Jeshua Lion Myers a/k/a Dually, 29, a citizen of Canada, the United States, and the Bahamas, residing in Toronto, Canada, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. to conspiracy to commit firearms trafficking, which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael J. Adler, who is handling the case, stated that in December 2023, Myers told an undercover law enforcement officer that he could travel to Florida to acquire firearms from various stores and websites, and then arranged to bring those firearms to the Western District of New York with the belief that the undercover officer could illegally smuggle those firearms into Canada to a co-conspirator. On December 20, 2023, Myers met with the undercover officer in Buffalo and provided 19 firearms in exchange for $33,000. Several of the firearms were semi-automatic firearms capable of accepting a high-capacity magazine. Myers also provided assorted magazines, including high-capacity magazines, ammunition, and other weapons components. On February 13, 2024, Myers provided approximately 110 additional firearms to undercover law enforcement officers.

The plea is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations Border Enforcement Security Task Force, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Erin Keegan, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Bryan Miller, New York Field Division, and the Ontario Provincial Police. Additional Assistance was provided by Homeland Security Investigations, Miami, Florida.

Sentencing is scheduled for February 21, 2025, before Judge Sinatra.
