Tom has been in the real estate business for 24 years starting as a salesperson and then becoming a Broker in 1987. He opened one of the first exclusive buyer representation real estate brokerages in 1989 making him a pioneer in the field of buyer representation. He helped found the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents in 1995 and served as the president of that organization in 1997-98. Tom is considered an expert in the area of the common law of agency as it relates to the real estate industry and speaks on this subject to many organizations including REBAC at the NAR national convention on two occasions.

Tom's formal education was interrupted by Viet Nam where he served with honor as a member of the Special Forces, Green Beret. Some say that this is the reason he is so hard headed, some say it is the reason he is so dedicated to the causes he supports. Either way he is known to be a force to be dealt with.
