Former Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General

Bernard (Barry) A. Nigro, Jr.

Bernard (Barry) A. Nigro is a Former Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General. He previously was chair of the antitrust department and partner in a national law firm.

He served as Deputy Director for the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition from 2003-05, where he received a Commendation for Superior Service awarded by the Chairman. He received his BA from Georgetown University and his JD from George Washington University Law School.
