Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Alexander Okuliar

Alexander Okuliar was the Deputy for Civil Antitrust. He joined the Division after nearly five years as partner in the antitrust group of an international law firm.  Alex is a former trial attorney in the Technology & Financial Services Section and attorney advisor to FTC Commissioner Ohlhausen. He has been practicing antitrust law for roughly twenty years with a focus on merger advocacy and antitrust litigation in the technology and media sectors. Prior to law school, Alex co-founded and led an online media company. Alex is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
