MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME ON CONSENT

Plaintiff United States hereby moves the Court for an extension of time to file a reply to the Response of Smith International and Schlumberger to the United States' Petitions for an Order to Show Cause Why Respondents Should Not be Found in Contempt until September 10, 1999. The United States has consulted with counsel for Smith and Schlumberger, and Respondents consent to this extension.

The Court ordered on August 13, 1999, that Respondents file their opposition to the United States' motion by August 26, 1999, and that the United States file any reply within eleven days after service of the response. Respondents' requested, and the United States agreed, to an extension for filing of their response until August 27. Respondents' have consented to an extension of time for the United States' to reply until September 10, 1999. An appropriate order is attached.
