July 2003 Model Of Oracle's Projection Of Decline In Customers For PeopleSoft And J.D. Edwards Combined

The chart shows a combined 9,687 in FY03. In FY05 the number divide into two: total customers (including "Oracle Migrations") and PeopleSoft & J.D. Edwards customers.

The total customers (including "Oracle Migrations") are shown as 8,664 (11% decline) from FY03 to FY05E. The number of customers keep declining. By FY08E the number of customers is shown as 7,719 (20% decline).

PeopleSoft & J.D. Edwards customers are shown as 8,063 (17% decline) FY03 to FY05E. The number of customers keep declining. By FY08E the number of customers is shown as 4,930 (49% decline).

Notes: Customers numbers shown are end of period numbers. "Oracle migrations" are customers that switch from PeopleSoft/J.D. Edwards to Oracle products. Charts exclude FY04 since the July 2003 Model only provides partial year forecast for FY04.
