Figure 2 depicts a decision tree of possible outcomes. The first node on the left has two choices: No challenge leading to Data Set 1, or Challenge, leading to another node. At this second node, the parties can abandon the deal leading to Data Set 2, or go to Trial. At the Trial node, DOJ wins, leading to Data Set 3, or DOJ loses, leadingto Data Set 4.
