The quadrant is divided as follows: Cash cows (top left), Stars (top right), Dogs (bottom left), and Incubate (bottom right).

Software revenues are shows as follows:
Cash cow - ERP placed approximately at 40% of sales and 5% CAGR.
Stars - no entries.
Dogs - Time/expense placed at approximately 1% sales and 8% CAGR.
Incubate:
1. CRM - placed at approximately 15% sales and 30% CAGR.
2. XPI - placed at 0% sales and approximately 28% CAGR.
3. SCM - placed at approximately 20% sales and 42% CAGR.
4. E-commerce - placed at 0% sales and approximately 41% CAGR.
5. Configurator - placed at approximately 3% sales and 45% CAGR.
6. Direct procurement - placed at approximately 10% sales and 63% CAGR.

The second image is two bar charts side-to-side. It shows current development resources and revenue in $ million; FTEs.

The first bar represents the development resources with 501 FTEs. It does not include QA/maintenance/documentation resources. The percentage current product development FTEs is as follows:
Stars = 0
Incubate = 51
Cash cows = 48
Dogs = 1

The second bar represents the revenue at $419. The percent of 2000 software revenue is as follows:
Stars = 0
Incubate = 6
Cash cows = 93
Dogs = 1
