This figure contains four maps of the United States showing the coverage areas of the four major nationwide wireless carriers, Verizon (using 850 MHz and 1900 MHz spectrum), AT&T (also using 800 MHz and 1900 MHz spectrum), Sprint and affiliates (using 1900 MHz spectrum only), and T-Mobile (also using 1900 MHz spectrum only). The Verizon and AT&T maps depict dark areas in more of the United States than for Sprint and T-Mobile, indicating a greater coverage area for the two carriers that have 800 MHz cellular spectrum.
