LIST OF PRO BONO LEGAL SERVICE PROVIDERS Click here for a copy of the List.

You should receive a copy of the current List of Pro Bono Legal Service Providers while in immigration court proceedings. The List contains organizations and attorneys providing pro bono legal services to people in immigration court proceedings. “Pro bono” refers to legal services that are offered for free, except that the organization or attorney can charge you for expenses such as photocopying, filing, and mailing fees. The List also contains pro bono referral services. These services refer cases, for free, to organizations and attorneys for pro bono representation. Please note that although the attorney or organization has agreed to offer at least 50-hours of pro bono legal services each year at each immigration court where they appear on the List, they are not required to accept every case pro bono. Additionally, some attorneys and organizations on the List may offer pro bono legal services to some clients and may also charge legal fees to others.

ROSTER OF RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATIONS AND ACCREDITED REPRESENTATIVES

EOIR also maintains a roster or list of recognized organizations that may be able to assist you with representation in immigration proceedings. Recognized organizations may have attorneys or specially trained non-lawyers called accredited representatives available to assist you with your immigration case. Recognized organizations are not allowed to charge more than a nominal fee for their legal services. Some recognized organizations also may offer pro bono legal services to their clients.
