Section Overview

The Financial Litigation Section recovers debt owed to the United States and victims of federal crimes pursuant to civil and criminal judgments. Over the last five years, the section has collected in excess of $2.3 billion on criminal and civil judgments.


Indira J. Cameron-Banks

Chief, Financial Litigation Section

Indira Cameron-Banks attended the University of Chicago and Boston University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2003.  In 2007, she joined the Office’s Civil Division, where she has litigated both affirmative and defensive cases spanning a wide range of substantive areas including financial fraud, constitutional rights, torts and employment discrimination.
