Norwell Man Pleads Guilty to Fentanyl Charge

BOSTON – A Norwell man pleaded guilty today in federal court in Boston to felony narcotics charges. 

Frederick Dechristoforo, 57, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. U.S. District Court Judge Denise J. Casper scheduled sentencing for June 6, 2024. Dechristoforo was arrested in November 2022 and indicted in December 2022.
    
In December 2021, a search was conducted at Dechristoforo’s residence in Norwell where several hundred counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl were recovered in the kitchen.

Acting United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy and Michael J. Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England made the announcement today. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Benjamin Tolkoff and John Reynolds of the Criminal Division are prosecuting the case.
