
Craig M. Wolff
Craig M. Wolff is the Acting United States Attorney for the District of Maine. As Acting U.S. Attorney, he is the chief federal law enforcement official in the state of Maine.
Acting United States Attorney Wolff is a career prosecutor who became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in 2002 and joined the District of Maine in 2006. He has prosecuted a variety of crimes during his career, but while in the District of Maine he has focused primarily on child exploitation offenses. Mr. Wolff has served as First Assistant U.S. Attorney and Senior Litigation Counsel. Prior to joining the District of Maine, he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Maryland for four years.
Acting United States Attorney Wolff received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his law degree from the University of Virginia. Before joining the Department of Justice, he clerked for U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz in the District of Maryland and worked as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of an international law firm.
