Divisions
Executive Division
The Executive Division consists of vital support functions for the office. Each support function contributes to the overall mission of the office to fight crime and to represent the United States in civil matters. The Executive Division is supervised by Executive AUSA Matthew Miller.
Criminal Division
Matthew Miller, Interim Chief
The Criminal Division of the United States Attorney's Office is responsible for prosecuting all violations of federal law. The Division is supervised by Interim Criminal Chief Matthew Miller.
Managing Assistant United States Attorney
M. Coleman Adams
Mr. Adams serves as the Managing Assistant United States Attorney for the Roanoke Office's criminal staff and cases.
Civil Division
Laura Day Taylor, Chief
The Civil Division represents the United States and Government Agencies in federal and state courts in a wide variety of defensive and affirmative cases by defending claims brought against client agencies and by filing lawsuits on behalf of client agencies.

Mr. Welsh serves as the Managing Assistant United States Attorney for the Charlottesville branch office and the Harrisonburg and Winchester satellite offices.
