Divisions


Executive Division
Daniel P. Bubar, First Assistant U.S. Attorney

The Executive Division consists of vital support functions for the office.  Each support function contributes to the overall mission of the office to fight crime and to represent the United States in civil matters.


Criminal Division
Zachary T. Lee, Chief

The Criminal Division of the United States Attorney's Office is responsible for prosecuting all violations of federal law. The Division is supervised by Criminal Chief Zachary T. Lee, and Deputy Chief Heather L. Carlton.

 

Civil Division
Laura Day Rottenborn, Chief

The Civil Division represents the United States and Government Agencies in federal and state courts in a wide variety of defensive and affirmative cases by defending claims brought against client agencies and by filing lawsuits on behalf of client agencies.

 

Managing Assistant United States Attorney
Ronald M. Huber

Mr. Huber serves as the Managing Assistant United States Attorney for the Charlottesville branch office and the Harrisonburg and Winchester satellite offices.

 

Managing Assistant United States Attorney
Randy Ramseyer

Mr. Ramseyer serves as the Managing Assistant United States Attorney for the Abingdon branch office.
