CEOS is committed to helping prevent children from becoming victims of sexual exploitation and abuse and to ensuring that children who do become victims receive the care and support that they need and deserve.

To report an incident of actual or suspected online child sexual exploitation, call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's (NCMEC) 24-Hour Call Center at 1-800-843-5678, submit a CyberTip report to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org, or contact the FBI at tips.fbi.gov.

To report an emergency, call 911.

Delivery of Prevention Programming

CEOS is committed to doing our best to advance these critical prevention efforts. Toward that end, CEOS has provided free prevention programming, both in-person and via webinar, to school districts (e.g., Montgomery County (MD) Public Schools, Fairfax County (VA) Public Schools), state boards of education, national associations (e.g., Consortium of State School Boards Associations), and others.  If you are interested in working with us, please contact us at CEOS.Prevention@usdoj.gov, or by clicking the button below:

In addition, CEOS is an active member of the Online Child Exploitation Prevention Initiative (OCEPI). OCEPI is comprised of dedicated, prevention-focused experts – including federal and local law enforcement agencies, non-governmental organizations, educators, professional researchers, and others – who are focused on preventing the online exploitation and abuse of children.  To date, OCEPI has published documents addressing sextortion, sadistic online exploitation, and the misuse of AI to generate sexually explicit deepfakes. OCEPI has also published a set of ten “best practices” that should guide prevention outreach efforts.
