Enter an Appearance (File an EOIR-27 or EOIR-28)

Before filing a Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative Before the Board of Immigration Appeals, Form EOIR-27, or before the Immigration Court, Form EOIR-28, an attorney or Accredited Representative (with full accreditation) must register with the EOIR eRegistry.

Once registered, the attorney or representative must file an appearance on a Form EOIR-27 for each case before the BIA or a Form EOIR-28 for each case before an immigration judge (see 8 C.F.R. §§ 1003.17, 1003.38(g)).
