Chief Information Officer
Edward P. So was appointed chief information officer in November 2017. From 1999 to 2017, he worked for the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service, in Quantico, Va., serving as a computer scientist, 1999 to 2003; senior computer scientist, 2003 to 2006; chief computer scientist, 2006 to 2014; and principal computer scientist, 2014 to 2017. From 1990 to 1999, he worked for the Export-Import Bank of the United States, in Washington, D.C., serving as a computer specialist, 1990 to 1992, and networks branch manager, 1992 to 1999. From 1989 to 1990, he was a manager at Symbiont, Inc., in Washington, D.C. In 1998, he served as a computer specialist at the National Air & Space Museum, also in Washington, D.C. Mr. So earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1986 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1990 from The George Washington University.
