Register or Update eRegistry

Before filing a Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative Before the Board of Immigration Appeals, Form EOIR-27, or before the Immigration Court, Form EOIR-28, an attorney or Accredited Representative (with full accreditation) must register with the EOIR eRegistry.

eRegistry is used to maintain a list of registered attorneys and Accredited Representatives who practice before the BIA and the immigration courts. After you fill out the online form, you need to complete the required identification validation process. You may complete the identification validation process virtually or by appearing in an approved location. Please see the eRegistry instructions for more information on the identification verification process. Once completed, you will have an EOIR identification number. You must complete the registration process as a condition to practice before EOIR.

Use eRegistry to register for the first time or to make updates.
