About
The Office of the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Human Capital (DAAG/HC) provides Departmental oversight of human capital and related services, including the Office of Human Capital, which provides enterprise human capital services; the Resolution Management Staff, which leads the equal employment opportunity program; and the Library Staff, which supports the Department’s legal reference and research needs.
The DAAG/HC also serves as the Department's Chief Human Capital Officer responsible for developing, training, and managing a high-quality, productive workforce in accordance with merit system principles. The DAAG/HC is committed to delivering informative, operational, and strategic oversight and service to the Department of Justice to support its mission to Uphold the rule of law, keep the country safe, and protect civil rights.
