The Charlotte Immigration Court falls under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Chief Immigration Judge, which is a component of the Executive Office for Immigration Review under the Department of Justice.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and are therefore separate from the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).

7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. The court is closed from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
The filing window does not accept documents between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. or from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month.
