The Civil Division
The Civil Division represents the United States and Government Agencies in federal and state courts in a wide variety of defensive and affirmative cases by defending claims brought against client agencies and also by filing lawsuits on behalf of client agencies.
The Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Wyoming consists of dedicated attorneys and support personnel who diligently represent the interests of the federal government in all civil litigation involving the United States, its departments and agencies and federal employees in the District of Wyoming by defending the interests of the federal government in the lawsuits filed in the District of Wyoming. Civil cases represent a significant portion of the caseload of the office of the United States Attorney and cover a broad and diverse subject matter.
