Chapter 4 - EOIR Courts and Appeals System

The EOIR Courts & Appeals System (ECAS) is a suite of EOIR web-based applications that allows attorneys and fully accredited representatives to electronically register with EOIR, access case information and hearing calendars, as well as electronically file documents and view electronic records of proceedings (eROPs) in eligible cases.  Similarly, these web-based applications provide access for authorized Department of Homeland Security users.  The Respondent Access Portal allows unrepresented (pro se) aliens who have cases before EOIR to view their case information, view and download the contents of their eROPs, if an eROP exists, view their hearing schedule, and voluntarily file certain documents electronically in proceedings.  For further information, including Terms and Conditions, FAQs, a User Manual, and training materials please visit EOIR’s website.  Visit the ECAS portal for registration and case information.
